The first two ingredients in this food are named organic meat products. These are both inclusive of water content (about 80%) and once that is removed it is likely that these ingredients would be more accurately placed somewhat further down the ingredient list (ingredients are listed in order of weight).
Both canola and sunflower seeds are sources of essential linoleic acids. Sunflower seeds are the higher quality product however. Flaxseed is fibre and an excellent source of Omega 6 and Omega 3 essential fatty acids. Buckwheat is a grain high in protein, while millet is easily digested and non-allergenic. The inclusion of a range of organic vegetables is appreciated.
Overall, this food contains good quality ingredients but is rather low in meat content. Organic ingredients are appreciated, but dog food should be based on good quantities of meat with minimal grains.
