Pros: Second ingredient is a named meat product.
Cons: Extremely low meat product content.

The main ingredient in this food is rice. There are two forms of rice in the top three ingredients, and we have little doubt that when the water content is removed from the ingredient chicken, that grains will make up at least the top two, and possibly the top three ingredients in the food. The grains used are decent quality ones, but we believe a dog food should be based on meat, not on grains.

Chicken is the second ingredient in the food, and ocean fish is the 8th. Both of these products are inclusive of water content (about 80%) and once that is removed it is likely that these ingredients would be more accurately placed somewhat further down the ingredient list (ingredients are listed in order of weight). We have concerns, therefore, about the extremely low meat content apparent in this food.
