First four ingredients are named meat products, uses good quality ingredients throughout.

Cons:

|
|
The first four ingredients in this food are named meat products. Two of these are meat inclusive of its water content (about 80%) and once that is removed it is likely that these ingredients would be more accurately placed somewhat further down the ingredient list (ingredients are listed in order of weight). The presence of a two meat ingredient next on the list, this time in meal form, gives us high confidence in the amount of meat product in the food.
The main grains in the food are oats, barley and rice – all are whole grains. Oats are a good source of carbohydrate energy and B vitamins. Rice is low-allergenic and a high quality source of carbohydrates and additional protein. Flaxseed is fibre and an excellent source of Omega 6 and Omega 3 essential fatty acids. There is a good range of fruits/vegetables in the food, and a good range of probiotics.
Like all Timberwolf organics products, this one contains good quality ingredients throughout. It has an excellent meat content. The manufacturer warrants the use of 48-52% meat meal in their foods, which is certainly one of the highest around.
