Pros:
Cons: Inadequate meat content, grains, fats, meat products of unidientifiable origin, low quality ingredients throughout

This product is comprised almost completely of cereal byproducts (think floorsweepings) of human food production. None of these are identified by type and may vary.

The meat related ingredients in this food are byproducts. It is impossible to ascertain the quality of by-products and these are usually products that are of such low quality as to be rejected for use in the human food chain, or else are those parts that have so little value that they cannot be used elsewhere in either the human or pet food industries. In the case of "meat" byproducts, users should be aware that the definition of this product excludes actual meat. Fish byproducts do nothing to decrease our dismay.

No information is given on the source or quality of the fat content of the food, nor on the added vitamins and minerals, which may include synthetics. No information is given about preservatives, which may include chemicals such as Ethoxyquin, BHA or BHT all of which are allowed in dog food products but are banned or heavily regulated in human food production due to the belief that they are carcinogenic.

This food is one of the lowest quality products reviewed on this site, raising more than a little horror at the idea of feeding it to a canine. It receives a 1* rating simply because we have nothing lower.
