Pros: Third ingredient is a named meat product.
Cons: Low meat content, but manufacturer recommends users add additional meat/vegetables to the food.

The first two ingredients in this food are grains. Oatmeal and rye are reasonable quality grains, but we do have concerns about the meat content of the food.

The third ingredient is a named meat product, in meal form. This is the sole meat product in the food. We note however, the manufacturer recommendation that this food be used as a “vegetarian plus” formula, and that additional meat be added. We would recommend users follow that advice and add additional meat.

The next ingredient is potatoes, which are a good source of carbohydrate and B vitamins. The food contains several good sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids, natural antioxidants, and fruits/vegetables.
