Pros: Second ingredient is a named meat product.
Cons: Extremely low meat content.

The main ingredient in this food is oats, and the third ingredient is rice. Both are decent quality grains but we have little doubt that when the water content is removed from the ingredient chicken, that grains will make up the vast majority ofthe food. The grains used are decent quality ones, but we believe a dog food should be based on meat, not on grains.

Chicken is the named as the second ingredient in the food, and it is the sole meat product. This product is inclusive of water content (about 80%) and once that is removed it is likely that this ingredient would be more accurately placed somewhat further down the ingredient list (ingredients are listed in order of weight). We have concerns, therefore, about the extremely low meat content apparent in this food.
