Pros: First and second ingredients are named meat products.
Cons: Insufficient meat content.

The first and second ingredients in the food are named meat products. The first of these, lamb, is inclusive of water content and once this is removed - as it must be to make a dry food - the ingredient will end up weighing around 20% of its original weight. It is thus likely that this ingredient would be more accurately placed somewhat further down the ingredient list.

The second is a meat meal, which increases our confidence in the meat content of the food. However, we know that it accounts for less than 18% of the total, which we consider insufficient. There are no further meat products in the food.

The main grains are whole brown rice, barley, white rice and oat flakes. These are decent quality, but this begins to look like a very grain heavy food.

We appreciate the inclusion of a range of fruits and vegetables in the food, but consider the inclusion of shellfish powder and poultry cartillage to be, at best, a gimmick.
