Pros:
Second ingredient is a named meat product.
Cons:
Insufficient meat product in food.
The primary ingredient in the food is rice (26%). Rice is a decent quality grain, but we believe that dog foods should be based on meat not on grains.
The second ingredient is a named meat product (turkey meal – 26%).
The remaining ingredients are all reasonable quality (though we are unsure what constitutes “turkey gravy” as this has no official definition). Preservative is mixed tocopherols.
Our main concern with this food is the low quantity of meat products used (26%). Our view is that that is insufficient for a canine
