Pros:
Second ingredient is a named meat product.
Cons:
Insufficient meat product in the food.
The primary ingredient in the food is rice (27%). Rice is a decent quality grain, but we believe that dog foods should be based on meat not on grains.
The second ingredient is a named meat product (duck meal – 27%).
The remaining ingredients are all reasonable quality (though we are unsure what constitutes “duck gravy” as this has no official definition). Preservatives are mixed tocopherols.
Our main concern with this food is the low quantity of meat products used (27%). Our view is that that is insufficient for a canine
