Pros: Good meat content, uses quality whole ingredients throughout.
Cons:

The first three ingredients in this food are named meat products. The second is chicken inclusive of its water content (about 80%) and once that is removed it is likely that this ingredient would be more accurately placed somewhat further down the ingredient list (ingredients are listed in order of weight). The presence of two meat ingredients next on the list, this time in meal form, gives us high confidence in the amount of meat product in the food. There is a further meat ingredient (fish) 9th on the ingredient list but this is too far down to make up a substantive portion of the food.

The main grains in the food are oats, barley and rice all are whole grains. Oats are a good source of carbohydrate energy and B vitamins. Rice is low-allergenic and a high quality source of carbohydrates and additional protein. Flaxseed is fibre and an excellent source of Omega 6 and Omega 3 essential fatty acids. There is a good range of fruits/vegetables in the food, and a good range of probiotics.

Like all Timberwolf organics products, this one contains good quality ingredients throughout. It has an excellent meat content. The manufacturer warrants the use of 48-52% meat meal in their foods, which is certainly one of the highest around.
